I joined Metfix/CrossFit Magni about 5 months ago, and I've had the most unexpected and enjoyable gym experience to date. I've been active all my life, being a part of dozens of gyms, and these guys take the cake for me. Personal, educational, and scaled to your abilities, this place really strives to help you improve through functional fitness and nutrition, and provides a positive environment for everyone. 6 Stars.
This is a great gym. I’ve been to a lot of other CrossFit gyms and not found the same quality of coaching, programming, and community. Since moving to boise and going to this gym for 2 years, I’ve made lifelong friends - it’s a true community and they have personally pushed me from beginner to more advanced. The owner of the gym, Mitch, has developed an artwork of skills in CrossFit. UPDATED: most of the reviews provided below, including all of mine, were done during an incentive program to help promote the gym. My rating has been updated to reflect the true experience. During my tenure, programming ebbed and flowed, changed often, in directions that were opposite of each other, no continuity or consistency from one idea or flow to the next. I dropped in this Saturday morning (June 14) and was greeted by coach Mitch. I had such a great workout and experience at this gym! Great prep work, wod, and recovery work. This gym seems like it has such a great community and really enjoyed my drop in!
So good had to review twice! Great workouts, but my favorite part is the sense of community there. Everyone treats you like friends and family. All instructors will push you but always within your limits and safety. Good form and technique is their upmost priority which I appreciate.
