I dropped in while traveling for work. There was an automated text service online, but new owner, Austin, Told me just to show up next time. Nice people, great coaching, and tough programming. New home gym while in Birmingham!
I typically have social anxiety coming to a new gym, but the environment that Jake cultivates inside Laminin makes the gym feel like a second home. If you haven’t met someone, they will always introduce themselves, and everyone is encouraging eachother during workouts. Additionally, the semi private training option is highly effective and I would recommend it to anyone considering improving their physical fitness.
People come for the effective workout and stay for the community. I can’t say enough good things about Crossfit Laminin. Great workouts, great coaches, and great people.
I think the programming sets this gym apart from others. It’s both accommodating to people that want a place to get fit and great if you want to push the limits at CrossFit. The community is welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend.
