2025 - it’s been almost 4 years since I joined this gym and this is still the best. If I ever have to move out of Virginia, the thought of trying out other CrossFit gyms makes me anxious because I don’t know if any other gym can replicate the culture Joyride has. Joyride people are my only friends in RVA. A lot changed in the last 3 years, including the deterioration of my knees. Update for the year 2024 CrossFit Joyride is still amazing!!!! The people are still amazing!!!! The workouts are fun, Tyler is my favorite coach as he never makes me run for the warmup!!!! The rest of the coaches are good too! The equipment is nice and well maintained!!!! Gaela the gym owner just got some amazing new plates and they are pink! I LOVE JOYRIDE! I am in the best shape of my life at almost 62 ! There is no intimidation, everyone is welcoming , fun & will encourage you no matter what level you are . The coaching staff is knowledgeable & will personally help you achieve your goals . I can’t say enough great things about the owner Gaela , i have learned so much from her & love her laid back personality. I once left this gym to go to one closer to my house , what a mistake !! You won’t regret choosing Joyride
Not having been a part of a gym in quite a while, much less CrossFit, admittedly kind of apprehensive going in. Gaela owns the gym and makes you very comfortable, tons of knowledge and experience and the people welcome you as one of their own. Was referred and so glad they did.
