Today I did my first true workout in a year and a half. I was nervous, so I did the drop-in class instead of committing right away. I can't tell you how good it felt to be encouraged by everyone, for everyone to be so nice and helpful. It really makes you want to come back. It's the community I've been hoping for!
CrossFit Carstairs is amazing! Group classes provide a great environment for accountability and motivating one another. Classes are led by a coach which go through everything from the warm up, stretching, movement demonstration, and instructing members how to do the movements properly. This is a great place to gain confidence in barbell movements, bodyweight movements, strength, speed, gymnastics, all the functional movements!
I have been going for almost a year now, LOVE IT! Fantastic group of people, love the coaches, and I feel like I'm slowly improving. I do the 5am class most of the time, and I love getting it done and over with for the day and feeling accomplished. Very happy I joined!!
CrossFit Carstairs is such an amazing group to be a part of. Everyone is so welcoming and encouraging to each other. Luke and Michelle have built not only a gym but a community and I’m grateful to be a part of it.
Not to often would someone say "that workout was fun", but with this group of coaches and people the majority of the workouts are fun, even if they do kick your a%$ at 5 am.
