Best gym in the city
Attended my first Hyrox class this morning with Coach Taylor and she was awesome. She thoroughly explained all the exercises and gave different variations and motivated the class along the way. Everyone was super friendly and supportive. It can be intimidating starting at a new gym but I didn't feel that way at all. Love that they offer 2 free trial classes. I will be coming back every time I'm in Ottawa.
CrossFit 1855 is more than a place to be physically active. It’s a place to meet like minded people, make life long friends and to challenge yourself daily with difficult tasks. This gym, these coaches, community and workouts will challenge you to push yourself past your limiting beliefs. I have no doubt if you try it out, you’ll become a better athlete here whether you are doing HYROX, AC, Oly or traditional CF classes. Steve, Andy, all the coaches and community, you are the best!! Have been a member since this gym started. Great owners, coaches, community and amazing equipment in a great big space. I love it!
I was completely new to CrossFit when I joined a few years ago but I’m so glad this gym was recommended to me. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. They provide scaling options so workouts are challenging but accessible for all fitness levels. What really sets this gym apart though is the welcoming community. I’ve made friendships with people of all ages, and I love the positive, uplifting energy in the morning classes. 1855 has become a place I genuinely look forward to starting my day at!
