Employees are all great they get 5 stars! But the gym itself is way overpriced and you apparently get trapped into 12 month contracts that they make you pay to cancel. Wouldn’t recommend. Update: a month AFTER paying the ridiculous payout price, I am STILL being charged weekly because of a "30 day notice." This place is an absolute joke. Do not sign a contract here unless you enjoy being ripped off.
This gym has completely gone downhill. It feels less like a business and more like the owners’ personal hangout spot, with members footing the bill. A daycare? Really? Most of us came here for fitness, not babysitting. Then you raise rates to “fund expansion” without asking what members actually want. Newsflash: it’s not daycare—it’s working equipment and a facility that justifies the insane prices you’re charging. Love this gym! After moving back home to Calvert, I was looking for a new gym and as soon as I walked in I knew I wouldn’t be leaving without a membership. The amount of available squat racks, benches, and dumbbells was exactly what I was looking for when deciding on a new gym. The staff is also amazing - always happy to talk, in a good mood and friendly. As cliche as it sounds this staff and its members really make it feel like a small community of friends. I have read the cancellation nightmares on here and I am currently trying to cancel mine and my sons memberships. I was there in person, i was asked to come back, not sure why, I was also called to come BACK in. Not sure why i need to come back in when i was already there and asked that mine and my sons be cancelled. I have also encountered the door issue, my card did not work for weeks, I was also threatened with a charge for someone running in behind me when I scanned in.
