My husband and I are customers of Crossfirst which is now Bussey bank. We have had a mortgage with Crossfirst/ Bussey Bank for going on 8 years now. Busey bank refuses to tell my bank that the check they wrote to me for over 300k will clear. My bank can't release funds so i can bury my mom. My mom passed August 2, 2025, Busey bank wrote me a check, I deposited on the 6th and funds will be released on 27th. Funeral home is charging me storing fees daily. Busey bank is awful!
