Had a horrible experience with Dr. Hima Bindu Yarlagadda. I feel she is not psychologically safe and lacks humility. I switched my in-person appointment to a phone appointment, and the first thing she says to me is, "well you must not be in that much pain if you didn't come in". I found her to be aggressive and overtalks the patient. I calmly replied that I do not feel this would be a good doctor-patient fit, and I do not wish to see her, to which she began to berate me, and I told her thank you and goodbye. I had a fantastic consultation with Dr. Stewart- Dr. Stewart was so thorough, holistic and really provided me all the options that would benefit my care and while giving me autonomy. A very very kind, compassionate practitioner..I felt heard and not rushed at all. So grateful for the wonderful care and support!
Dr Bélanger is amazing! I previously went through a procedure at another clinic and it turned into a traumatic experience. I explained it to Dr Bélanger and she listened attentively and addressed my concerns. I was given options and absolutely no pressure to go through with it which I much appreciated. I had the procedure done and was extremely relieved that it turned out fine. Thank you, Dr. Bélanger!
I wouldn't recommend Dr Lalani. I came in for what I figured was an internal tear (bleeding, pain) and he examined me for about 1 minute and proceeded to say it was vaginismus and that I should get ($$$) pelvic floor therapy. This was after he found out that I have concurrent mental health disorders. "All in my head" type of attitude. The tear ended up healing on its own after about a month. I felt like I really wasn't listened to and I find that this is the case with a lot of male doctors.
I am expressing my concern regarding my recent appointment with Dr. Jenise Yue. During the consultation, I politely inquired whether I should continue my follow-up care with her or return to my family doctor, as Dr. Yue mentioned that my ultrasound report indicated my condition was stable.In response, Dr. Yue raised her voice and spoke to me in a disrespectful manner, which I found both unprofessional and distressing.
