Dr. Zegar was excellent, professional, clear in communication, and made the eye exam easy to understand from start to finish. However, my experience with the front desk staff, specifically a woman named Deanie, was disappointing. While I browsed for glasses, she watched me from her desk and made multiple comments about which frames I should or shouldn’t be looking at, based on my insurance. I have been a wearer of glasses and contacts for nearly 40 years. My children inherited my eyesight so they also go for glasses and contacts. I have had WONDERFUL experiences with all of the eye doctors and their offices EXCEPT CROSS GATES EYE CLINIC. PLEASE READ THEIR REVIEWS! They are spot on! There is one lady who runs office and Dr. Zegar. I am a single mom and widow and I have to pay OOP for our contacts.
