We had a group of 12 on a girls trip and called a couple gyms near Truckee to drop in on and CrossFit Avalanche was so welcoming and friendly! They sounded excited to have us. Coach Myles was AWESOME and the members that showed up to 930 am class Friday were so KIND and welcoming! I’ve never had a group of 12 women drop into my gym and I know we’re a lot so THANK YOU! Great vibe here. Owner is awesome - great at scaling for different levels and I had an injured shoulder and he was great with checking in and modifications. Awesome community feel while also welcoming visitors.
I dropped in here for 6 sessions and it was awesome. All the coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging and supportive. So is the community- great people that clearly know each other for a while. I was included right from the start. Go check it out- if you new to CrossFit or traveling!
