Just had to pop on over to the reviews and tell anyone reading about what a refreshing experience this was. I messaged Trevor about trying out the gym and he was quick and polite in responding. I showed up with an inconvenient amount of kids (one strapped to me and a 4 year old) and Trevor was SO cool about working things out for me to us comfortable. He was never pushy or greedy. I started here with my husband shortly before turning 42. I had lightly exercised in the past, but am not an athlete. I’ll admit I was super skeptical, and at first it was hard! But Trevor helped me modify everything to a place where I felt comfortable. We kept showing up, and now it’s been 3 years. I can do things now I never thought I could do, and a huge bonus is that chronic pain from a back surgery 10 years ago went away after about 6 months of starting at 540. If you are looking for community, all ages and ability, and a place to change your body, this is the gym for you. It doesn’t matter how long it’s been since you were in shape. Just show up.
I think it would be hard to find another gym that caters so much to its members. There are so many programming options, Trevor makes everyone feel welcomed, and it’s even dog friendly 🤩 It’s a great place to hang out with friends while you fitness!
I started CrossFit 540 four months postpartum because I was not in a good space mentally and emotionally and needed to do something out of the house with my husband. 6 years later, I’m still here because this gym has been one of the best things to happen to me. Not only did I find an outlet postpartum, but I found a community and sweet friends. Yes I got stronger and healthier, but there is so much more to this gym than just lifting weights and running.
