Honestly, this place is home to me and my family. This is where we fell in love with Michigan and we've been back every year since. I'm so grateful for the peace and quiet this place offers us while being so close to so many things! Plus it's extremely affordable for us to actually go on vacation to a place we adore, because we foud Crooked Tree. I will not recommend this place there was roach and gecko poop by the sides of windows there was mold on the doors, pillows, and bedframes. There was also stains on the bed sheets and the room had rat pee smell we wished we could sleep outside on the ground instead
Cabins are always spotless when we get there and when we leave. We have been here for the past 13 to 14 years. Even if it's foul weather there is something nearby to see or do. Rick and Renee are great hosts any issues are quickly rectified. Fish below is one of many.

We’ve never been so exhausted and ready to leave a 7 day vacation. We stayed in #5. The cabin had been smothered in bleach right before we arrived. You are not allowed to park outside your cabin, you must park in the designated area at the top of the hill, which is ok if you stay in one of the 3 near the top but if you stay in the lower 3 near the lake be prepared to walk up hill to your vehicle.
