Our book club had our monthly gathering at Cronquist House. We made a reservation and were put into the back of the restaurant. It was lovely to be in a separate quiet area. We all ordered the tea for one/two and all of it was delicious. The service was at a leisurely pace. We all had variations of tea and I enjoyed the Chai Wallah (local treasure) Most of us took some of our lunch home in that the portions were large. Went for lunch today, and what an amazing experience, the daily soup was rich spiced flavors but not spicy, the sandwich was fresh and very filling. No room for dessert but the scent of fresh baking was enticing. I highly recommend! I will try the new chicken pot pie next time. The new management are great cooks, and so welcoming!
