Sold me a supposedly functional freezer which ended up not working 2 weeks after I purchased it. Stay away from these folks, put your business elsewhere where they take care of their customers.
Sold me a deep freezer, which died 3 weeks later. Tried to charge me another $75 to "look at it". Mr Cromer is a deceitful liar. Pathetic.
Charging sales tax on tax-exempt items I recently purchased a sealed bottled drink here and was charged full sales tax. Under South Carolina law (S.C. Code § 12-36-2120(75)), sealed beverages sold for home consumption are considered unprepared food and are exempt from the 6% state sales tax. Many stores, gas stations, and vending machines correctly treat these drinks as tax-exempt, so it appears this business’s register or setup may be misclassifying them. They've brought nothing but trouble each time I've heard of them. Every machine I've used has been atrocious. Cromer claims this company is his youngest son, which makes me fear what may be in those sandwiches.
