We are the second owners of a custom house built by this company located in Carlton Woods Creekside. What a disaster. The air conditioning was so poorly designed that we spent $20,000 redoing the systems. The concrete tile roof has been repaired so many times for leaks, and we have been advised by several roofing companies that it was improperly installed and would require a complete tear off and new roof costing over $100,000. Croix custom homes has a sick model where they tear down unprotected historic homes in beautiful old Houston neighborhoods (Boulevard Oaks, Southampton, Montrose), tear down all the trees and replace them with bleak contractor grade homes that are then sold as luxury. Shame on them, shame on their quality, and shame on their miserable business model. Additionally, wherever they build, their workers throw trash everywhere and have stolen items from neighboring properties.
