We’ve stayed in this condo (High Roller CSC4E) for years, and it just keeps getting better! This unit has been redone I’m talking: new furniture, new comfy mattresses, updated balcony paint and furniture, new kitchen wear, beach towels for guests under the bookshelves, fresh paint, and a HUGE upgraded smart TV. We stayed in April of this year, and everything was amazing! Great place to stay, as long as you are ok with some distance between outings!
I am only giving 2 stars because I really am happy with the staff that tried to make our stay enjoyable but this is the first year in 10 or so that we decided to try somewhere other than First Flight Retreat which is probably one of the nicest places we have stayed in our 33 years of coming to the outer banks. Unfortunately, other than the staff, this place is a mess. Needs major overhaul, our Condo CS3R was extremely musty and humid. We spoke to the maintenance guy and he told me it was a problem with just that unit...just ... read more
This place has really gone downhill. We came here several years in a row because we like the parking, storage, pool and hot tub, etc. But during our last stay, the outdoor hot tub wasn't working, the bathrooms were never stocked, and there were massive roaches in the pool deck and parking areas. There seems to be just this one maintenance guy for the whole place who tinkers around and does a few things in between sitting and smoking.
