As an experienced veteran advocate with some 20 years plus experience I'm disappointed and perplexed with the lack of understanding and consideration shown in the recent compilation of a veteran's claims of the application of relevant veteran legislation, DVA policies and procedures. Avoid Critical Components – A Scam Preying on Veterans If you’re a veteran looking for real support, stay far away from Critical Components. My experience with them—specifically with Ciara (pronounced Kira)—was an absolute nightmare. She claimed to be able to act as an advocate for my DVA claims but was not qualified, lacked any real knowledge, and completely botched the entire process. Probably the worst receptionist I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve been referred and attempted three times to make an appointment. Same response each time “I’ll bring this up at the next meeting and we will call you back”. It’s like talking to an automated machine. No call back in 3 months of trying to book an appointment. Quite frightening at the complete lack of follow up for a psychology service.
