I saw Dr. Porch many years ago, and everything was great back then. I returned yesterday to discuss patch testing. First, the medical assistant was extremely thorough and spent so much time making sure she had all of my health history and information. Dr. Porch was very kind, and she is very thorough. Six stars! I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Porch and her staff, every one of them. I have a nagging dry cough and other allergist symptoms. I'd been to another allergist just the week before. I won't comment on that. Dr. Porch was so thorough. I hardly waited any time for her to come into the office after her assistant took all my info. Dr Porch was condescending and rushing too much to listen. She assumed things without asking questions. I told her my asthma become bad only in the last 7 days because they requested that I not take allergy medication in order to have allergy tests. Dr Porch concluded after a 3 minute interview that I was managing my asthma poorly. Did she not listen? I told her again, only 7 days. I also could breath too well for a woman my age with asthma(DR). my very first appointment took like a whole hour before she even saw me!. I only got over the counter meds for my allergy and the second time went in for blood work results by them I thought maybe I get some prescribed meds that will help me, instead I walked out with the same over the counter meds just more of it, 3r time think the same as the second time I would get maybe something else and nothing and I was told I was getting a shot next visit . the next visit just happened and NO shot!!!

Dr. Porch truly cares about her patients. She spends as much time as needed and is an excellent listener. When I've been really sick I don't always remember what the doctor said when I get home. So I appreciate that you are given a print out of your visit which includes directions for meds. Depending on the reason for my visit, I have gotten follow-up calls from either Dr. Porch or her staff to see how I'm doing. I wish she was my primary care doctor.

There aren't enough words to express my gratitude for Dr. Porch and Coastal Allergy Care. Dr. Porch has an in depth knowledge of not only her own medical speciality, but is intelligent in all areas of medicine. I have a unique condition and she took me under her care and provided endless amounts of support and advice to help me get better and manage my condition.
