Village Medical offered average care prior to Walgreens take over. Current iteration cannot be defined as healthcare. This is business model designed for profit, no more no less. Patient care is oxymoron.

Bunch of gd idiots and they do not give a sh about their patients. I wrote them a nice review that helped a lot of people but i realize now they plain just dont give a sh and its all $$$ bunch of lazy selfish people go see a real doctor

Dr. Álvarez is an employee of Village Medical and a fairly good doctor. His affiliation to Village Medical (VM) is very damaging to his reputation. Let me explain: 1) There is no way to communicate by phone with the doctor or his office unless going through VM 2) VM has a bank of telephone responders that will make it very difficult to communicate directly with the doctor´s office by routing to many different VM departments 3) One is compelled to physically go to the doctor´s office to communicate the problem. 4) Any referra... read more

Bad Administrative Communication My Doctor and clinic staff at Village Medical (VM) at 11994 Richmond Ave, Houston, TX 77082 are nice. However, administrators and communication systems of VM are very, very bad. In early May 2022, Village Medical requested a blood test to Quest for my diagnostic but provided a wrong test code. When Quest submitted the invoice of that test to my health insurance, United Health Care (UHC), the payment was denied because of the incorrect billing code. Today was an unexpected day by one of the front office employees, who was surprised by her mistreatment, as if I was not in a clinic, but in a court, and the judge was investigating me. It is very unfortunate that such people receive patients and treat me with impoliteness…

Poor customer service ever Zero -0 Rate I email & called & many times left the message since last January 2021 for fixing the wrong billing code that they sent me, But, unfortunately NO one called for fixing the wrong billing.

AWEFUL doctor. Beware she appears to care, only to deceive you. I was with her for 15 years! She’s turned cold and a incompetent physician. Her bedside manner is atrocious and her lack of compassion has been horrific. Her medical assistants are incompetent

This office failed to notify of 1 my dr leaving and 2 why my necessary meds weren't being called in automatically like they should. Made an appointment to get a new pcp seeing as my last one no longer works there then I get there on time . I call and am on hold forever then they answer and say im.late my appointment was canceled! I wasn't late they took forever to pick up the phone to let me in ! Now I still have no meds and am having panic attacks daily thanks to the horrible medical stall here
