Crime victims compensation is a joke. After scheduling my interview, they never called. When I called in 48 hours later I got someone on the phone who told me that my interview was not needed. They unilaterally decided without hearing my side of the story at all, without my input at all, that I was not a victim because I fought back against my attacker. This is a very frustrating and difficult program to work with. The approval process takes a long time and payment takes even longer. They expect you to pay for services up front but then only reimburse the service providers. You then have to ask you providers to reimburse you directly. I'm still waiting on reimbursements for services provided in March of 2023 and the advocates don't respond to most emails. It's impossible to get ahold of anyone. No one you can reach ever seems to have any answers.

they do not pay as agreed very difficult to reach anyone at their office, and their investigators block emails when inquiring about outstanding balance due. I have waited nearly a year for payment #ridiculous there is NO WAY this is a 5 star business Absolutely NO WAY!
