Took car for a service .. very smooth operation, well organised
I moved to Queensland from NSW at the beginning of the year and booked in with Cricks for my 45,000km service on 28th April. When I picked up the car I was told everything was great and had no issues. In may I noticed a knocking noise when I go to break. I work away (fifo) and couldn’t get it looked at until now. My mechanic took it for a test drive and put it up in the hoist to discover that all 4 tyres have a significant bald spot. This review is for the service team only. I took my almost new car in with uncontrollable steering wobbles at high speeds - I suspected faulty kingpins. They said it was “just characteristic of the vehicle,” didn’t inspect as requested, claimed my car didn’t even have kingpins, and suggested I blame my aftermarket suspension. It’s a known issue so I even brought to their attention a service bulletin about faulty kingpins on this model from the country of manufacture.
