I saw Dr. Crew as a resident in psychiatry in the 1980’s for psychotherapy supervision. With the advent of managed care and (mostly wonderful) advances in biological psychiatry and pharmaceuticals, still it helps any psychiatrist to have a good understanding of “psychodynamics”—the psychological basis for mental illness.
