Really stupid system of having reception 20 mins away from the hotel. I called in the morning and was told check in was 24 hours. Got there at night only to find it was in a different location. Also the hotel is just a disgusting motel the faces the parking lot. Tiny rooms and stained furniture and carpets. Mould in the bathroom! Would never stay there again!
It was noted that one has to travel to a different location to check in and obtain the key card to the location. If one does not have a car, this is incredibly inconvenient, no matter what forewarning customers are provided. So I wonder if customers are informed of this prior to booking and paying as this can be potentially deceptive conduct if this information is not shared prior to booking. Booked here for a trip to Melbourne at the end of October. Check in was a mission, despite having had corrospondence with the property beforehand, I had to prompt the very disinterested staff member checking me in to review the notes. My room wasn't clean. I mean it was in parts but there was visible dust build up on so many surfaces. The safe was locked, in room phone didn't work and the ironing board cover was ruined. Woke up to water leaking through closed door and window. The bed had a sheet thrown over the doona not a doona cover. Do not recommend.
