I can't believe that this bank has been sold to United Bank of Charleston, West Virginia. There goes the local ownership. And who has ever heard of United Bank? About the only thing positive is that the stupid "Have a nice bank" logo will go away. That is such a horrible slogan. Whoever came up with that must be a moron.
This bank has issues. Constant problems with online banking and debit cards and no one working there knows me because they are constantly changing employees. No one stays long, ever. Very disorganized and very disappointing.
The turnover here is unbelievable. I’ve never seen a bank where you don’t see the same face twice. And sadly the people they have working there seem to be clueless. I’m not all about a “nice” bank as much as I am a bank with competent employees working in their branches who don’t rotate like the Tilt O’Whirl at the fair. Very disappointing.

RecommendedOver the past three and one-half years I have purchased two condos and one house in Myrtle Beach, obtaining mortgages from Crescom Bank in each instance. I find the employees of the bank to be very user-friendly, to provide attention to details, and to be proactive communicators. A shout out to Amanda Phillips, the Retail Group Assistant Vice Principal, who has been my contact with all three mortgages and made each a reality.
I love #crescombank. They take great care of me and my family. we all have checking accounts, credit cards etc through them and I feel like they know me by name and care about my needs. It's by far the best banking experience I have had in my life.
Why do you never see the same face twice here? Every time I go the person I spoke to the last time is "no longer with the bank." Very frustrating experience to constantly see new people who have no clue who you are and have to start all over. Talk about feeling like a number.
