We were debating on renting a car just to go out to see the Whitney Plantation and last minute decided to pivot and booked Crescent City Tours instead. They picked us up on time and Demetria did a wonderful job getting us to and from both of our Plantation tours (Whitney and Oak Alley). We didn't feel too rushed with the self-guided audio tour at Whitney, and had time to eat and take extra pictures of the grounds at Oak Alley before the house tour started. We took the Laura and Whitney Plantation tours last Monday. Both were phenomenal! Transportation was a breeze. Brian was fun, energetic and helpful. Our big bus driver shared many stories from history of the area to the heartaches of the Katrina devastation. I found all of it fascinating, moving, and heartbreaking. Thank you Crescent City Tours for wonderful day and hospitable day. :)
We booked a Whitney + Oak Alley plantation tour through Crescent City Tours during our New Orleans trip. The booking email stated pickup would be outside our hotel between 8:30–9:00 AM, so we waited there expecting a bus. Around 9:00, I was about to call when I received a call from a staff member who arrived in a Mercedes to pick us up and drive us around the block to the actual bus pickup location. We booked the Whitney plantation tour through them. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable giving us a history lesson along the way. He stopped to show us important landmarks and gave us some insight on the devastating impacts of hurricane Katrina. Before leaving, our driver made sure we were set with everything we needed and that we knew where to go. They were punctual and professional. Would recommend booking through them.
