My doctor abandoned me and I was never notified. Possible reason was that I changed my Medicare supplement to a Medicare Advantage plan. But, why would that make a difference? Now, I'm having a terrible time getting my blood pressure medicine at Walgreens. I think we can all agree that the system sucks. However, I expect a certain amount of professionalism and compassion from healthcare providers. Crescent City Physicians and LCMC have failed miserably in this regard.
In what should be one if not the most compassionate areas of medicine, this physician is failing, miserably. I was referred to Dr. Kao as "highly recommended" for a second opinion for problematic cyst/fibroids - possible hysterectomy. The visit lasted all of 15 minutes with no compassion or concern for the overall well-being of the patient. Fortunate for me I don't have to see her again and would never refer anyone to her.
Horrible. Don’t go here. They billed me for services that weren’t rendered then when I called them, they said they resubmitted the claim. Turns out that they didn’t resubmit it then I had debt collectors come after me. I made sure to report it to the Louisiana department of health.
Been coming here for 9 years, The provider is very nice. However, I wish they would send their phone receptionists to a class on phone skills and being nice. They act like they're doing you a favor, both at Prytania and Lakeview locations.
