I used to be proud of this restaurant. It used to be a solid seafood spot with fair prices, but now the menu is shockingly overpriced. Somewhere along the way, they seem to have forgotten where they are—this is Sylva. Not Anaheim, not Miami, not New York. This is a small mountain town, yet their prices are starting to look like they belong in a big city. For example: oysters used to be $19 for a dozen and $11 for a half dozen. Terrible service waiting for over 1.5 hrs for a simple meal then never send order to kitchen untill I ask were was my order they check and it was never turn in to the kitchen I had to wait 30 to 40 min more Terrible place to order food And very expensive more that other same restaurants I have been never again in this town
Maybe the chef was just having a bad day, but my lobster was very tough and rubbery and the collard greens had so much vinegar on them they were inedible. The hush puppies soaked up all the juice from the greens and I couldn’t eat them either. I was very disappointed.
