I went to Creekside Behavioral Health after getting discharged from Woodridge Hospital about a day and a half prior. The staff at Creekside are so friendly, kind and understanding. I literally acted like a b word for 4 hours straight and I wasn’t doing anything they kindly asked me to do, but they forgave me and were understanding. They helped calm me down whenever I had suicidal ideations.They legitimately care about their patients. I found the things I learned in group therapy really helpful. They will let people in active drug psychosis leave in 5-7 days but will keep a fully coherent adult who is telling them that being institutionalized is being detrimental to their mental health for 11 days. The care team doesn’t actually care about the needs of each individual person.
Great place if you’re looking to detox and get doped up. If you are seeking help and want to better yourself, look elsewhere.
