I had $279 taken from my account for insurance that i canceled due to my car being totaled.. I explained to the huge bank person jorge the situation to dispute the charge.. huge Jorge was super rude telling me “you’re the one charging the card!” and wasnt willing to help he me told me to take it up with the insurance company. even though they told me to take it up with my bank. The ATM just took my Navy Federal Card! And when I called to see if they could assist with retrieving my card. I was told that they have no control of the ATM as it’s owned by a 3rd party, so they can’t do anything to help me. Mind you I’ve been a member for 10 years, so for them to not even attempt to help was upsetting. They couldn’t even tell me when the 3rd party servicer comes out to service the machine. I know a member was only notified my mail of a sizesble deposit. No phone call, no text, no email! Account was frozen. Now theyrd being charged a very sizable sum to unfreeze the account! Some of the funds are in very dire need. Some of the money required gas been paid but it seems that the credit union is being more difficult than it needs to be. Extremely uncooperative!
