When I tell you she braided my son’s hair 1 time, and ever since then he loves her freestyle braids & so does everyone else. He gets so many compliments on his hair. Ive never seen him smile so much. Now my wife uses her too!
I am not sure what the 1 star reviewer experienced nor would I try to take away from her experience, but I can say that Ona is the only braider I will go to. I needed my hair done once and went else where and never will again. I’ve been going to Ona for about 5 years and have never had a bad experience or hair style. Not only does she braid well but fast compared to others and finally she ABSOLUTELY DOES cut your hair to finish your style. Everyone is not for everyone.
Ona's braids were painfully tight. Got it done at 330pm and was ignoring the discomfort til I went to bed and realized my scalp was already sore so I googled "cornrows hurt" and found out that such tightness can DAMAGE YOUR HAIR / SCALP. I went to sleep anyways hoping it would be better when I woke up. It wasn't. Got up at 430am and took those braids out myself to alleviate my headache and minimize any PERMANENT DAMAGE caused by dangerously tight braids.
