Purchased marble slabs 3 years ago to update our bathroom. It was installed by Bill Seaman and it looks beautiful. We are now installing a sliding glass door but the towel bar is in the way. I called and asked the best way to remove one end of the towel bar so the door can be installed. It was suggested that I use fishing line to "saw" through the silicone that is holding it in place so as to not scratch the finish. It worked with not much effort.
