We hired Creative Deck Designs to put an EZ Breeze room and patio on our house. While the sales process was smooth, communication between the salesman and the rest of the staff seems poor. Our project was supposed to be finished weeks ago, and if it's done in a couple of months I'd be shocked. Creative Deck Design provides excellent customer service. The representative, G. Beard, is reliable, responds to calls when needed in a timely fashion. Gary has a foresight in drawing up the prints and very helpful of designing the deck. He was also helpful in what is the most cost effective choice. The crew, lead by G. Hollingshead, finished the deck within 3 weeks and they went beyond their duties when we asked if they would remove an old heavy hockey table when they removed the old deck. I gave one star just because they could build a patio but the workmanship is very sub par for so called professionals. I have called and sent emails with pictures and about the milky white stains all over the pavers, and have heard nothing back about what its was. But after doing some research online it is called poly hazing and it is cause when they put the polymeric sand down and do not take the time to make sure all polymeric dust is off the pavers before they wet it. Worst contractor in the DC/Baltimore area. Had a deck, patio, paver and stonework done by this company. Deck railing failed within one year, pavers sank over 4", flooring was installed improperly, and had constant problems. They refused to fix the problem.

I have used Creative Deck Designs a couple of times now and have been pleased with the results. I had my fencing replaced in the back yard about three years ago. The rep who assessed the job was very professional. He explained all my options and showed me photos of jobs they had done. He gave me a very competitive price. The job was started when promised. It was a great experience. The showed up promptly and cleaned up everyday before they left. I had an addition built and my deck resurfaced and had composite rails added. I wanted the deck to match my siding, and creative brought out samples and I found the perfect match. I am very pleased with Creative and would recommend them. (I read the earlier review and I never saw immigrants or people who spoke only spanish and my job took four weeks. ).
