Felt completely taken advantage by owner Doug. He looked at our job, wouldn’t give us a quote for the job. We mistakenly allowed him to start the job without getting any quotes from him. Halfway through the job, he sends us a bill with fabricated hours worked and demanded to be paid without allowing any negotiations. His tone became threatening. The only fair way was time and materials. This stage of the job was completed. They asked for a quote for the rest of the work , which I agreed to do . I billed them for the hours and materials used , not fabricated hours like she said . I kept track of our time . She did not mention that they questioned our electricians quote for his work and offered him half of the amount to do his job . He refused , so they found another electrician.
