Hit or miss on food, with a very nice atmosphere... – Came in here for lunch while working in nearby East Oakland. The atmosphere is modern, the lighting was good, and they were busy at lunchtime. The pros: Some of the dishes are very good. I had the black-bean shrimp which was nice but small. My co-worker ordered the mushrooms stuffed with crab. Also nice but small. Best Restaurant in San Leandro – We've eaten at CreAsian many times but had not been there in about a year. We're sorry it has taken so long to revisit it. Went on a Friday night and had no problem getting a table. The place did fill up by the time we finished dinner. Started off with great appetizers - chicken spring rolls, chinese chicken salad, and our favorite - calamari. The service could not be better. One of my favorites!! – This is one of my favorite resturants. It is a very simple looking resturant with very good food. It is very Asian Fusion with a wide variety of food. My absolute favorite dish is the seared Ahi Tuna!!! I get it almost everytime i go to the resturant. They have very good tempura aparagus and mushrooms and a very light chinese chicken salad. I highly recommend this resturant, I would recommend making a reservation on friday and saturday nights just in case. They do tend to get busy on those nights.
THIS IS THE WORST RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO – CreAsian is a joke. WITH a reservation, we waited 20 minutes to be seated, another 20 for water, another 30 for our order to be taken. After an hour and 40 minutes of no food, I asked the waitress for our bill so that we could leave. All she could say was "sorry", but never came with the bill. Great Food!! – This is a delightful restaurant that has great food with touches of all asian cuisines. The restaurant is simply decorated but creates an intimate warm feeling. Don't be discouraged by the funky location (parallel to the freeway). The food was all wonderful especially the seared scallops in a light wasabi sauce and the pineapple rice with prawns was my favorite! Has quite a large wine list including sake's and a variety of interesting cocktails. Try it and enjoy!!!
