I dropped in crazy train CrossFit to get a quick workout in traveling from Chicago. I’ve dropped in many gyms in my day usually getting the same treatment which is not much instruction or coaching but just jump in and get the wod done. The owner was incredible. He spent half the class teaching me all kinds of things. Even knowing I was likely to never set foot back in the gym likely due to living in Chicago he spent a lot of time working with me for that hour. As someone with a history of injuries, I deeply appreciate the thoughtful warmups that include mobility work—it's been a breath of fresh air.
