My wife is keen on knitting. Me not so much. We happened on the store in an impromptu visit to Leonardtown. The store has a collection of quality yarns and kits for felting and the like. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and affable. A table in the middle of the store was hosting some kind of knitting bee - with a good community vibe. Up near the front were a sofa, 2 comfy Poang chairs and a bookshelf - good to while away some time while my wife shopped. All-in-all a good experience for both of us.

Ellen's shop is a go-to for me if I need to "kit up" a sweater project. She has skills at finding those hard to trace colors and textures.

A lady working there was "crass". From the counter she told not to touch the bins, (even though they were sticking out with yarn in them), I stopped. After the lady was done with her customer she felt it necessary to come over to me and tell me again, even though I had moved on! Why doesn't she make sure her precious bins aren't sticking out?
