My alternator went out on my Toyota Tacoma on a Sunday and I needed to get back to work in El Paso. Crazy Ape's was the only mechanic open and answered the phone. He was able to schedule my service the first thing when they opened Monday and got me back on the road. Friendly, knowledgable service, and very responably priced. They even got me a ride home to my cabin in Ruidoso and picked me up when the service was complete! WOW! Highly recommend this auto mechanic service.
This guy is an absolute genius! After countless hours of trying to figure out the problem he pulls up (on his day of rest) and within 20 minutes has be back on the road! He’s fixed multiple vehicles for me and we have gained a friendship over them. Best mechanic in ruidoso by far!!!!

My husband and I found ourselves stranded while camping this past Sunday. Ape and Amanda went above and beyond to try to help us, coming to our location and working on our car well into the night. They covered a lot of things in a short amount of time, and were a huge blessing and encouragement to us. If you find yourself in a sticky situation, call these guys. They are amazing!
On a road trip to NM my Tacoma went into limp mode after driving in White Sands after a sandstorm. I was concerned about the misfiring and truck's issues. We made it down to Ruidoso, where we were staying for the time. After a diagnostic test at the local NAPA showing this had a misfire on Cylinder 3 we only assumed the engine coil was going out.
