Crawl Space Ninja is the best! My husband and I had our crawl space encapsulation this week. There was high moisture and heavy mold in the crawl space, so they placed an AprilAire dehumidifier to dry it out for about a month first along with sealing the vents. This week they sodablasted the wood then applied mold killer. After that, the vapor barrier was placed along with the dehumidifier. Eddie & Kevin did a great job. They were patient & courteous with all of our questions and quick to respond. They were communicative & did great work. We recommend them!
Simply raising their dehumidifier by hanging it from the floor system allowed me to delete and dispose of 6 CMUs, an expensive Pump, and a sketchy extension cord, and all of a sudden the humidity performance was better even though we turned it down to work less. The humidity in the crawlspace isn’t on the floor.
Eddie Lofton, the project manager for our encapsulation, was fantastic. He came to our house 4 times for the encapsulation and installation of the dehumidifier and inspections. He identified a problem with the dehumidifier installation and fixed it, then came back twice to make sure it was perfect. My HVAC is working much better, my crawlspace looks like a clean room, and I can sleep at night. I am super pleased with the whole team and their professionalism.
