We purchased 2 kayaks here. Customer service was excellent. We were even taken to the storage or basement and shown all the colors and types of kayaks they had. The gentleman even stayed after close so our son could bring the truck to waverly so we could bring them home that day. Went back a few weeks later and had another gentleman searching all over helping us to find the right size and type of pants we were looking for.
Fantastic knowledgeable people. Great selection of kayaks, and gear, something for everyone.
My family and I just got home from a March Migrations kayaking trip for beginners in Summer - and we all had an amazing time! The guides were incredibly kind, patient, and helpful with my 7 yr old and 11 yr old! I learned so much and had a fabulous time meeting awesome people! Best of all it was truly self care, soaking in this precious time to be immersed outdoors. We will absolutely be coming back for more! Thank you!!!

Huge selection of kayaks, by far the largest in Iowa, maybe the midwest. They also carry a nice variety of high end camping, climbing, paddling clothing and gear.
We've done two Girl Scout events led by CrawDaddy outdoors and I highly recommend them. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and very encouraging - especially appreciated when working with a big group of first-time kayakers.
To let everyone know, the event that was going to happen at George Wyth Today, July 17, is cancelled due to the strong possibility of severe weather.
