This was the greatest experience I've ever had with an animal hospital. Everyone was extremely friendly and more importantly, paid attention to my beloved dog. Dr. Kingsley was absolutely fantastic and very knowledgeable. The vet tech was so good that I actually thought she was the vet! I was just getting my rescue checked out and I was told about the $50 office visit fee. I will definitely go hear for all my pet needs!
I was very upset to hear that my price turned out to be $195 for a couple vaccines. I discussed everything that was going to happen before hand. However when I looked at the bill, i found there to be a "professional evaluation" for $50 each dog. So i paid $100, for maybe 2 minutes of the doctor being in the room and I was not told about it until I paid. Staff was nice. Had to wait 20 min after my appt time was supposed to be for, but that happens. I was just very displeased to not be told about the evaluation before when I a... read more
Dr. Greenlaw is smart, very professional and very compassionate. We feel very fortunate knowing he is in New Bern. I would strongly recommend him to anyone.
I have no problem with this practice other than the charges are high. I have found all the staff courteous and caring. I recently had to have my cat euthanized because of progressive renal disease. I was allowed to hold my pet the entire time which made it easier for him and meant so much to me. I have two rescue dogs and an elderly cat they still treat. One of my dogs was rescued from the flood waters in Pamlico County following Hurricane Irene. He has been diagnosed with PTSD and panics during storms or even heavy rain. Dr... read more
Office refuses to call or fax my online pharmacy a prescription that they do not have the generic form of in stock. They told me they do not support online phamacys but they are failing to support me and my choice. The best doctoring is useless if its merits cannot make it to my animal in a timely manner. I don't feel a toll free phone call or fax is too much to ask or beyond reasonable expectations.
They were caring and compassionate (terminal cancer) and very accommodating and helpful during our dog's last few days. However, when the time came to put him to sleep, I was not impressed with the staff. We called beforehand, were told, yes to come. Ended up sitting in the parking lot for 30 minutes. Doc came in, syringe in hand, never introduced himself, complete lack of compassion during the whole process. Never even petted our dog. The dog was not sedated enough and stood up screaming as final meds were injected. Horribl... read more
This is a good animal hospital. It isn't going to be cheap since it provides quality care. And the people at the front desk are all super nice. Nobody has ever been rude to me and I have 4 pets I bring there.
