Hired Craters and Freighters to crate and ship electronic equipment from Portland to Los Angeles. Purchased their insurance, which we were told covers 100% of damages. This place was recommended to me by an auction house in portland, and I was told that it was a little bit more expensive than ups, but the trade-off between the incompetency of The UPS Store and my absolute certainty that my objects will be packed correctly with Craters and Freighters meant that the price difference was irrelevant (and honestly, they're extremely competitive with every other shipper), but with Craters and Freighters I know that my artwork will arrive in perfect condition.
