Visited the Avalon store today to look for small items for my daughter. I was taken aback by how the staff obviously followed my sister and me throughout the store. We literally moved to different areas of the store to determine if in fact we were being followed. It was so obvious as staff followed us and pretended to busy with nearby items. FYI, we were there to shop not steal, so, to be so obviously followed was very off putting. Nice staff, helpful though hard to find the right person who knows product line. Purchased Breville machine. Own a bigger older model but wanted a smaller scale model. It fit perfect. Made the mistake of throwing away the original box (we own an older one that works great). We tried to make a hot expresso for 6 weeks… it gets good and warm but not hot. By the time you make a Americano it’s lukewarm. And the expresso is terrible. Turned up the temperature that didn’t help. Tried all the trouble shooting in the manual. Our oth... read more

We had a wonderful experience furnishing our living room with Crate & Barrel, and we couldn’t be happier with the final result. Our designer, Channing, was absolutely fantastic to work with from start to finish. She truly listened to our needs and helped us maximize the seating space in a way we never would have thought of on our own.
