I should have heeded others warnings about shopping here. We were really excited to purchase our new walnut dining table from Crate & Barrel because the quality and design are exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately, the buying experience has been very disappointing. We placed our order in June and, after a long wait, only the table base arrived—the tabletop is still missing. Beware of certain staff at this location! During our visit to this location, we experienced extreme rudeness from an employee that had curly black hair, medium build / height. She was extremely off-putting and disinterested in us as first time buyers. We were initially working with Patricia (who was absolutely wonderful), until we were were rudely interrupted by this sales associate who stated that Patricia needed to work with her "specific clients" then proceeded to walk away and not work with us, leaving us high and dry. Today, my boyfriend and I visited the Edina Crate & Barrel in hopes of purchasing the Retreat Sofa for our first/new apartment. Both of us are recent college graduates with little knowledge of the furniture-buying process, but we knew which pieces we were hoping to purchase, and were also planning on financing with the credit card. Ru was such a big help. She stayed a little later and packed stuff exactly as we wanted and even helped us with long travel tips. Thank you so much for great customer service! Crate and barrel has great stuff. We'll be back.
