I had an extremely disappointing experience at Crate & Barrel. My husband and I came in to exchange a Breville machine we had just purchased, an expensive decision. While we stood at the counter waiting for help, the three employees behind the register — including the manager — were laughing, chatting, and carrying on conversations with each other instead of acknowledging us. A quick shout out to Michael for being a genuine help to me vs what so often gets passed off as customer service at stores. I will shop your store again for that reason.
I went to pick up an online order and the lady at the counter who I assume was the Store Manager, Karen (I don’t mean this as a pejorative, that’s her actual name) was extremely rude. When I spend money here, I just want to pick up my product. I don’t need to hear her unsolicited and very insular opinions. I’ll happily spend my money elsewhere going forward. She should be ashamed of her behavior and do better next time.
