I have bought 7 cars through cranky ape over the past 10 years. I bought one today and did NOT have a good experience to say the least. I drove 4 hours to pick up the car. I call the office and tell them I am 10 minutes from the Hastings location and the time was 4:20pm. Kelly, who was the least friendly person said that they close at 4:30 and lock the doors at 5:00pm. Beware of the $50 per year fee that they charge you just for registering to bid. It must be burried in their terms and conditions. At first I thought it was a (make sure you are real) and they would refund type of situation. I registered to maybe bid on an item and it's $50 yearly. Pretty shady to bury that in legal fine print.

I rarely would leave a negative review for a business but this business does not operate by their own terms and conditions. We won an auction where the reserve was not met, instead of offering the vehicle to us at the sellers reserve, they just sold it to someone else. This violates their own terms and conditions of sale. Victoria (the supervisor) was rude and inconsiderate. Stay away!
