The experience overall was great. It was nice calm and relaxing. That was exactly what I was looking for . The staff here was very minimal. But the one person that was there was great at getting everything together quickly and easily. I can imagine the wait times on the busy hours can get hectic with the minimal staff. But overall a great time. I would recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing time or on a first date experience.

Had a wonderful afternoon canoeing with my son up and down the river. The water was very clear in the sunlight. The views were beautiful and calming. The nature was stunning and saw many animals along the way! The staff were very nice as well.

What a great way to spend an hour or two. Canoes or kayaks for a good 2 hour price. Take a little trip down a calm and peaceful waterway (Rahway River) as it winds under bridges, behind properties, private docks, and parks. Easy rowing for anyone in the family. Helpful staff and grab some ice cream on the way out. Lucky to have this in the area.

I’ve never been in a canoe before much less rowed it. Went on an adventure with my boyfriend who knows his way around a canoe. What a great experience. And the canoe rental staff was very patient. I mean VERY patient. When we got back I could t get out of the canoe and they were so nice about it. Thankfully I didn’t fall in. If you’ve never been in a canoe go with someone who knows how to row. I rented a tandem kayak with my 7 years old boy and what a hidden gem! The canal is 50+% shaded by trees and with the breeze, it was so pleasant! Didn’t break a sweat after 1hr20mins of pedaling. I didn’t realized that there were so many cute houses dotted along the water, each with its own charm. We will come back for sure!
