To those who say their loved ones thrived once they left this place, I totally agree with you. The staff try their best to perform to the best of their abilities with the little to no support from upper management and have to work within a very “tight” budget even though this place profits from their high rental costs. This company not only plays favorites with their residents, but also their employees. The level of unprofessionalism from management is something I have never seen in all my years of working. The current executive director is a master micromanager, and refuses to let directors run their own department. The turn over rate for directors beneath Executive Director Virginia Rice has been outrageously high. Over 10 directors have left beneath her. Hello, I had my mom here just before it became Alto. The current management are the same from Cranes View, only the owners have changed. Folks, it works like this...all of these facilities that do not have skilled nursing...They pay minimum wage to their staff. These people work hard for peanuts. However, the facility makes a heck of a profit off of our loved ones. We experienced mistakes with medication administration and so much more. I absolutely love this community and its staff. Alto has a very warm and friendly feel and I have enjoyed working with them on a professional and personal level. Sara is amazing to work with. I have had the pleasure of seeing her at networking events and resident events at the community. She is very active and engaging with the residents, staff, and outside vendors. The nursing staff is on point too! I highly recommend this community.
