They hold ashes and bodies until you pay. I dont know how they aren't held accountable and prisoned for their actions.Stealing bodies is a law that requires prison time. I dont understand how they are legally able to do it. I have a few friends that have never been released to their families that this funeral home had cremated and kept their remains because families wasn't able to pay in full. Shame on this place and shame on them being allowed to do it! Payment arrangements would be a great SMH

Zero stars if I could, as people came in for the funeral today all the seats filled up, when my in-laws, who have handicap accessible tags in their vehicles, came in and asked for more chairs to be brought out so they could sit, the staff told them more chair would not be brought out until time for the funeral to start so they can put them all out at once and know how many to get, my in-laws that could not stand that long had to leave and miss the funeral because the staff REFUSED to accommodate them, very unprofessional pat... read more

This is the first time our family has used Crain Funeral Home in Anna. My Mother passed and Dad decided to use Crain and it was definitely the right decision. Bryan and his son were so professional and courteous. Met our families expectations. From start to finish every thing was in order. Thanks Bryan for everything. Bruce Pitts

Today I called to figure out how to navigate making arrangements for my brother. Your female funeral director was so rude and lacked any level of compassion. I understand you deal with funerals constantly, but it's my first time. Handle people with care. I wasn't crying. I wasn't hard to understand. I was just trying to get basic information. The woman couldn't even try and sound kind, she was nasty. Her tone was condescending. It was disgusting. She should be ashamed. My daughter was heartbroken hearing the interaction.
