I've known Craig since around 2004. I had horses that needed special shoeing, and he always did an excellent job with them. He has always been a no nonsense, easy-going guy, has an established clientele, and a professional set up for farrier work. The guy is as strong as an ox, and the horses feel a sense of security when he's under them. If you need a good blacksmith, go to Craig.
This guy has major attitude. I told him my past farrier was injured so could not help. My horses are way overdo so when I asked when he could come out as well as what he charged, he got indignant and said "Fine, I will charge you $200 each, come out tomorrow and cancel someone else!" At that I hung up. If he can just cancel (when you meet his elevated price) and cancel on someone, he is not dependable enough for me nor do I want to entrust him with the care of horses.
