In September of 1997 my PSA increased by 1.5 points. It was suggested that I do "watchful waiting." I was 62. I requested a second opinion. Dr. Craig Zippe said "you bought yourself a biopsy." Unfortunately, all five punches were positive for prostate cancer with a Gleason Score of 6. Due to previous abdominal surgeries, radiation was the treatment of choice.
