I had an ischemic stroke in the year 2000. I am 63 years old now. I have been on Warfarin for 26 years and I'm sick of the excessive bruising and the blood testing that is required every 6 to 8 weeks. There are dietary restrictions when taking warfarin as well. Vitamin K lessens the effectiveness of the blood thinner warfarin . I don't think I have eaten any spinach for at least 10 years. I love spinach! I felt very dismissed. I've never felt like that before with him. Paid $50 Copay, waited over 30 min after my appointment and got brushed off. This office is not close to my home at all. I really liked him and now I have concerns for my wellbeing. I wanted to bring up a few specific things with him but he was so short with me I couldn't or at least that's how I felt. It was very very disappointed with this visit.
